          据消息人士透露，这笔交易几乎已经敲定。国际足联与Zee的谈判已进入最后阶段，交易预计价值约3000万至3500万美元，覆盖2026年国际足联世界杯。
国际足联此前曾与Reliance-Disney就印度地区转播权谈判了一段时间，但双方未能达成协议。索尼影视网络印度也曾评估购买转播权的可能性，但没有提交正式报价。按照这份新的拟议协议，比赛将在Zee近期推出的体育频道网络播出，并通过其数字平台Zee5进行流媒体直播，转播预计还将提供多语种版本。
消息人士表示，Zee已经开始为多语种转播组建团队，相关团队已在孟买洛尔帕雷尔的演播室展开工作。这也是Zee重返体育转播的重要一步。该公司最近以Unite8 Sports品牌推出了4个体育频道，包括印地语频道Unite8 Sports 1和Unite8 Sports 1 HD，以及英语频道Unite8 Sports 2和Unite8 Sports 2 HD。
2026年世界杯将由美国、加拿大和墨西哥联合承办，赛事将于6月11日开幕，这将是首届扩军至48队参赛的世界杯。本届赛事共进行104场比赛，全部104场都将在印度播出。
